Multisport Mentorship

Ausome Multisport Mentorship is in full swing! In this Ottawa-based Legends Mentoring Program workshop, young athletes on the spectrum are moving, having a blast and making friends as they try various sports, games and recreational activities. Matched with supportive and encouraging mentors who help them play at their own pace, these athletes are enjoying activities like relay races, balancing challenges, obstacle training, soccer, basketball and, as you’ll see in the photos, even boxing!

In 2018, we hosted our first Jake’s House Holiday Party in Ottawa, welcoming new families to gather together for a festive celebration–and we are thrilled that we have since been able to offer families in this community more opportunities to socialize, to learn and to have fun through our Legends Mentoring Program. The Ausome Multisport Mentorship workshop runs every Thursday for 12 weeks, with the current session concluding on December 19th. A new session will begin in the new year, so stay tuned for dates and registration–and be sure to join us for this year’s Jake’s House Holiday Party at the Infinity Centre on Sunday, December 2nd, 2019!
