Legends Mentoring Program Celebration Day

Jake’s House was thrilled to celebrate the continuation of the Legends Mentoring Program on June 14th at the Hockey Hall of Fame. It was an amazing event that highlighted more than 15 years of support by Jim Gregory and the NHL, ongoing financial investment by the Ontario Government, and a new found collaboration with U SPORTS Canada.

We rely on the generosity of supporters and volunteers to reach families in need. As we continue to expand the Legends Mentoring Program, we aim to reach more people not only in Ontario, but across the nation.

David Goldstein, COO, of U SPORTS, spoke about the organisation’s commitment to support Jake’s House and its initiatives in the near future by helping us grow our volunteer base through its national network of student-athletes, followed by our Co-founders David & Irene Bodanis, who recognized the amazing support given by Jim Gregory and the NHL during the past 15 years. Without the benevolence of Jim Gregory, much of what we do would not be possible.

Thank you to all who attended and those who continue to help Jake’s House reach people affected by autism.
