A Legendary Night (video)

On World Autism Awareness Day 2019, Jake’s House brought together the community–individuals with autism, existing supporters and potential new advocates alike–to celebrate and connect.

First, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau warmly greeted our guests, then prominent voices, such as Mayor John Tory, the Economic Club of Canada, the CFL, USports and TSN, discussed the autism landscape in Canada. Next, Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson took the stage for an inspiring concert–the highlight of which was when he invited four individuals on the spectrum to share their musical talents on stage with him for a live performance of Give a Little Bit.

This evening not only informed, but highlighted the power of community and helped spread hope.

    On December 10th, the Jake's House family gathered at the Infinity Convention Centre to celebrate a day full of holiday warmth! It was a day we forged connections with new families and individuals, as well as reunite with those already part of our diverse community, including members from our programs such as Legends Mentoring, Employment Training, and Inclusive Housing.

    On November 26th, the Jake's House family gathered at the RBC Place London to celebrate a day full of holiday warmth! It was a day we forged connections with new families and individuals, as well as reunite with those already part of our diverse community, including members from our programs such as Legends Mentoring, Employment Training, and Inclusive Housing.
