Over World Autism Awareness Month, the students at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School took part in a several fundraising events and activities to help spread awareness and acceptance.

By selling rainbow-coloured autism awareness bracelets and raffle tickets for a variety of prizes, these kind and enterprising students raised over $1000, which they generously donated to Jake’s House–a showing of the power of community in action!

Toronto Holiday Party 2024
On December 8th, the Jake’s House family gathered at the Toronto Congress Centre to celebrate a day full of holiday warmth! It was a day we forged connections with new families and individuals, as well as reunite with those already part of our diverse community, including members from our programs such as Legends Mentoring, Employment Training, and Inclusive Housing. On November 17th, the Jake's House family gathered at the Infinity Convention Centre to celebrate a day full of holiday warmth! It was a day we forged connections with new families and individuals, as well as reunite with those already part of our diverse community, including members from our programs such as Legends Mentoring, Employment Training, and Inclusive Housing.
Toronto Employment Expo 2024
On October 29th, Jake’s House hosted its 2nd Annual Employment Expo in Toronto, marking another impactful step towards connecting individuals with autism and other neurodiverse conditions with employment opportunities. The event brought together over 600+ family members, candidates, and community members, as well as an impressive lineup of 30+ corporate Canada employers and community partners.
