Students Support Alumnus Jake

The students of Chaminade College School welcome and support Jake, a young man with autism, and the charity that was founded in his name.

His father and brother Chaminade alumni, Jake now assists the school to provide support in the library. Knowing Jake well, the current students have become advocates for those with ASD and want Jake to know that he is not alone, that he has a friend and that he is cared for.

Toronto Holiday Party 2024
On December 8th, the Jake’s House family gathered at the Toronto Congress Centre to celebrate a day full of holiday warmth! It was a day we forged connections with new families and individuals, as well as reunite with those already part of our diverse community, including members from our programs such as Legends Mentoring, Employment Training, and Inclusive Housing. Ottawa Holiday Party 2024
On November 17th, the Jake's House family gathered at the Infinity Convention Centre to celebrate a day full of holiday warmth! It was a day we forged connections with new families and individuals, as well as reunite with those already part of our diverse community, including members from our programs such as Legends Mentoring, Employment Training, and Inclusive Housing.
Toronto Employment Expo 2024
On October 29th, Jake’s House hosted its 2nd Annual Employment Expo in Toronto, marking another impactful step towards connecting individuals with autism and other neurodiverse conditions with employment opportunities. The event brought together over 600+ family members, candidates, and community members, as well as an impressive lineup of 30+ corporate Canada employers and community partners.
