After a long-awaited pause due to the pandemic, Jake’s House is excited to announce its participation in Dreams Take Flight 2023. The annual event provides a magical adventure to Walt Disney World for children with disabilities. Air Canada and the Air Canada Foundation are proud supporters of Dreams Take Flight and have been instrumental in making these dreams come true for thousands of children over the years. 

In 2019, the Jake’s House team had the privilege of bringing three children on the autism spectrum, Devin, Grace, and Nicholas, to Walt Disney World alongside a plane full of deserving kids. It was a day full of excitement, wonder, and joy as they explored the magic of the happiest place on earth. 

Despite being awarded another trip in May 2020, it was unfortunately postponed due to the pandemic. Now, after a three-year hiatus, the group of four individuals on the spectrum, who were chosen for the excursion at that time, will finally be able to embark on their journey on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023. 

None of this would be possible without the support of Dreams Take Flight, Air Canada, and the Air Canada Foundation. These organizations are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities and providing them with the trip of a lifetime. 

Jake’s House is proud to be a part of such a meaningful cause and is grateful for the generosity and support of these organizations. The trip provides a safe and supportive environment for children on the autism spectrum to have fun, explore, and create unforgettable memories.
