Ball Hockey Event with NHL Players

On July 9th, 2022, several athletes from Shiftd Hockey enjoyed a Saturday filled with ball hockey fun with the Jake’s House family. Numerous former and current professional hockey players came out to share their knowledge and experiences and teach proper ball hockey techniques. 

Players such as former Tampa Bay Lightning player Mike Angelidis, Montreal Canadiens Michael Pezetta, and many others had a blast practicing drills with our community. Every participant had the opportunity to be paired with one of the professionals. The key lessons from the ball hockey outing were stick handling, passing, and shooting skills.

We are extremely thankful for the time and knowledge shared by these hockey all-stars! Thank you for giving back to the community and supporting our Jake’s House Mentorship goals. Thank you to all our families who joined!
