Art Workshop in Lawrence Park
On September 7th, 2019, several youth, along with their parents, met the Jake’s House team and artist Olivana Tonon for an interactive art workshop at the Lawrence Park Community Church.
The talented Olivana walked everyone through a variety of watercolor painting activities, and encouraged the young artists to get creative. As an example, the children got to trace and paint landscapes on greeting cards, which they took home with them.
The entire group had a blast, expressing themselves through art and socializing with peers. Here are some of the beautiful smiles and works of art that were created at this workshop!
