About Bricks 4 Kidz
***All Jake’s House programs and events that take place in public places, are temporarily suspended.***
This is the latest complementary workshop for children with autism in the Legends Mentoring Program series!
Offered in Kingston, Bricks 4 Kidz combines lego robotics, educational programs and social skill building activities. Focusing on S.T.E.M. principles, it is designed to enhance self-esteem, fine-motor skills, and classroom lessons, such as organization and following directions. Participants in the workshop also learn how to be critical thinkers, while developing skills such as patience and working with others.
Run by Certified Teachers, the Bricks 4 Kidz workshop runs for eight weeks, with each session 1.5 hours in length. Three eight-week workshops, welcoming 15 participants each, will be held throughout Kingston, making it more accessible to families.
A part of our Legends Mentoring Program, Bricks 4 Kidz is being hosted in partnership with Boys and Girls Club Kingston and Jake’s House.
